What do you like and dont like about the song Run This Town?

Q. I need help with my School assignment and i have decided to do a song review on the song Run this town by Rihanna and Jay-z . Can you please help me out? Person who gives me the best answers will get awarded. Thanks a lot.

A. Things i don't like about it:
Its sung by 2 of the most idiotic "singers" in the world, i mean, what sense does it make to sing about random, irellevant things, i mean you try to tell me what these stupid lyrics mean:
Feeling it coming in the air,
hear the screams from everywhere,
Iâm addicted to thrill,
Its a dangerous love affair,
Canât be scared when it goes down,
got a problem tell me now,
Only thing thats on my mind is who gon run this town tonight,

they're music just suck, and i just watch 1 of rihanna's music videos because shes hot

Where do I get good song reviews?
Q. I am looking for a website with good songs reviews. something like IMDB but for songs.

A. Metacritic - It;s like a Rotten Tomatoes for Music. You can get the average review for an album which is better than single review cause you get the opinion of many people.

Are there any music playing services/websites that I can use to let people listen to various songs on a blog?
Q. I'm assuming letting them download the song would be illegal (although, that would be my first choice: if I'm wrong and it's not illegal please tell me).
What websites fit best for playing various songs on a blogspot?

I'm planning to write song reviews and then letting the readers listen to the song, how can i do it?

A. Playlist.com

or

imeem.com

Note: Sometimes when you embed a song from imeem, the embedded player will only play a 30-second clip. And it says something like "Log in to imeem to listen to the full song." Personally, I can't be bothered, much of the time. And I'd assume there are probably a lot of lazy bums like me out there, who feel the same way. Lol.
So when you put a song/playlist on your blog, you might want to double-check whether it'll actually let your readers listen to the whole song.

Hope this is helpful. :)

Is it legal to have clips of songs hosted on a public webpage, or is there some sort of fee involved?

Q. I have recently started reviewing music at the request of some friends, and would like to post 5-20 second clips of the songs I am reviewing with an embedded player. I would prefer to choose the segments myself, and would use Audacity to create them. My question is whether or not this is legal. Do I have to pay a licensing fee? Is there some sort of time limit on a clip before it becomes illegal, or is it just against the rules completely?

A. Depends.

Using a small piece of a song, book or other copyrighted material is sometimes allowed for non-profit use, or use by news reporting agencies. If you are using only a few seconds of material you may be able to do that legally. I suggest that you hire an attorney admitted to practice law in the federal courts who is knowledgeable about copyright law and what is sometimes called the "fair use" doctrine.

I hope this helps, good luck to you.

Barclay's Premier League Review Show: name of the song playing during the ending credits?
Q. I am trying to find the name of the song that plays when the show is ending. I don't think it was on there before. They added the song to the review show for the 12/13 season. It has piano in the song.

A. I'm usually asleep by the time they get to that part of the show. Sorry.

If you still have the recording, you can use a song reconising app on your smart phone to identify it.

What is the song on the Nook or Kindle commercial that starts with a girl in a hammock?
Q. I haven't been able to find the song of one of the e-reader commercials (I think it's the kindle, but I can't be sure). It starts with a girl swinging in a hammock and goes on to show the ereader in various settings (for example, I recall it sitting on a treadmill while a girl is picking up a water bottle and drinking from it). Can you tell me the name of the song? Thank you!

A. In short:

> Don't go for Nook Color. It's using backlight screen like computer screen, and is difficult to our eyes. Just not suitable for reading purpose.

> Choose the Nook if you want to be:
- Able to borrow ebooks from library to your ebook reader
- Able to read books in epub format (without need of conversion) on your ebook reader

> Choose the Kindle if you want to be:
- Able to have free 3G wireless access
- Able to download books and use 3G wireless even you're outside of the United States
- Able to have text-to-speech function to read books to you like audio books

There is also quite a good review for comparison between the two here:

Is it legal to use songs for fair use?
Q. I reviews for YouTube using Fair Use, in these reviews, I use footage from the film's I review, & in my next review, I'm reviewing a musical, & in the review, I'd like to share a bit of a song (from the film) in the review to let people hear it. I'm not going to show the whole of it, but I must wonder; is it ok to use songs for review? Would Fair Use cover music? Please reply as quickly as possible, because I'd like to know right now.

A. Yes it is legal, but the clip must only show a short segment of the song, not the whole performance. 20-30 seconds should not be a problem, unless the song is only 30 seconds long.
